I set up Perfect Aspect to offer a high-quality editorial service, following a successful career in education.

I have an MA in English and I have trained in copy writing at the College of Media and Publishing, and proofreading and copy-editing at the Publishing Training Centre. As a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), I uphold high standards in work and professionalism.

I write for business clients, and publish occasional journalism. I am also available as a ghost-writer.

I edit and proofread in a number of areas and have a special interest in memoir, biography and history, fantasy, sci-fi and young-adult. I can give particular support to self-publishing writers.

Other areas in which I have expertise are literature, education, horticulture and music.
